I have 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist providing care in hospital, rehab, out-patient and home care settings. I have been working in the metro DC/MD area for 22 years and have been specializing in home health for the last 10 years. I am an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences Department. I also am a huge soccer fan and continue to play recreationally and serve the community as a soccer referee at the youth to high school levels.

One-on-one patient care in the comfort of your home until you are ready to leave your home for out-patient care
Monitoring recovery
Early monitoring of vital signs and general well-being as you recover from your orthopedic surgery and anesthesia
Pain management
Review of all prescribed medications including proper use and timing for optimal pain management. Additional education on non-pharmacological pain management techniques
Early Mobilization
Teaching on all aspects of mobility including bed mobility, transfers and gait training, stair management and exiting/entering your home safely. Education on compliance with all ordered orthopedic precautions with mobility
